Capeasy Microservices Foundation provides loan and EMI collection services, not physical goods — so this policy explains how refunds are handled for payment-related situations rather than product returns.
If you accidentally pay an EMI twice, or pay more than the amount due, the excess amount will be refunded to your original payment source (bank account/UPI ID used) within 5-7 business days of us identifying and verifying the duplicate/excess payment. Alternatively, at your request, the excess amount can be adjusted against your next EMI.
If your payment fails or your EMI status does not update on the Platform despite the amount being debited from your bank/UPI account, please contact us with your UTR/reference number via the Contact Us page. In most such cases, the amount is auto-reversed by your bank/UPI app within 5-7 business days as per NPCI/bank guidelines. If it is not reversed automatically, we will investigate and initiate a refund once the transaction is confirmed as failed/unlinked on our end.
If you choose to prepay or foreclose your loan, any applicable foreclosure charges will be as disclosed in your Loan Agreement. If you have paid an amount exceeding the actual foreclosure amount due, the excess will be refunded within 7 business days.
Processing fees, once your loan application has been processed, are non-refundable — irrespective of whether the loan is subsequently approved, rejected, or cancelled by you — except where required by law or expressly stated in your Sanction Letter.
Approved refunds are credited back to the original payment source (bank account/UPI ID) used for the transaction. Depending on your bank, this may take 5-7 business days to reflect after we initiate the refund.
